Web Marketing: The Low-Cost Way To Get Work
Website:

The web is a powerful and low-cost way to get more work.
People are increasingly using the web to find what they're looking for.

Search engines are often the first place people go to.
The three most-used search engines:
1. Google (gets about 60% of searches).
2. Yahoo (gets about 10% of searches).
3. Bing/MSN (gets about 9% and it's increasing).

You should have your own website and it should be registered with at least those three search engines.

Here is some detailed information about building your own site and optimizing it for search engines.

Blog:
Google loves blogs.
Put a blog on your site or obtain one at blogger.com
If you have a blog, it's important you keep it updated.
When you write stuff in your blog, be sure to occasionally include links to your site.

Craigslist:

Some people don't like it, but craigslist can provide a free source of advertising. Post an ad in the relevant trades section. Include a link to your site.

Forums:
Find related forums and post comments.
Include a link to your site.

Paid Ads:

You might consider Google adwords, or backpage.com or websites local to your community. Look for local community websites: Some of them may include your small ad or a link free of charge. It doesn't hurt to ask.

If there are any websites for your area directed at realtors, see about getting an ad there.
